Oriana - exclusively for adults, mid-sized ship

Oriana will be leaving the P&O Cruises fleet in August 2019, following her farewell Norway and North Cape Cruise (X913). Oriana has earned a loyal following and we know many of you have very precious memories of her. There are still plenty of opportunities to sail on her before departure or why not try one of our other ships exclusively for adults such as Aurora or Arcadia?

Oriana's refit

Traditional cruising at its best has become even better. We're excited to announce that Oriana has undergone a fabulous makeover to improve the overall cruise experience for our guests. We know that Oriana holds a special place in the hearts of many of our guests and we have spruced her up, while staying true to the integrity of this special ship.

Traditional cruising at its best

Originally designed for comfort during round world cruising, Oriana's broad teak promenade and lido decks are great for sun bathing and watching the world go by. The card room and wood panelled library are ideal for relaxing in, as are the bars.

Discovery cruises

With her smaller size Oriana is known for exploring new destinations. Choose one of her Discovery Cruises to unearth lesser known treasures, or embark on her annual adventure cruise for the trip of a lifetime.

A Venue for Every Occasion

In addition to several bars conveniently located around the ship, Oriana has a wide variety of places to wet your whistle.

Tea and Coffee Around the Clock

You will find a kettle, cups, saucers and teaspoons as well as teabags, various coffee sachets, sugar and milk in your cabin. This will be stocked up when necessary by your cabin steward. Tea and coffee is also available free from the buffet area. Alternatively the teapigs range is available to buy in select coffee shops, bars and pubs. Costa coffee can be purchased from Java and Grab & Go outlets.

Tiffany's

Incorporating Tiffany's Bar in the forward section of D Deck, and wrapping around the top deck of the four-deck atrium, is Tiffany Court. The soft lighting and comfortable sofas and chairs create a very relaxing ambience, wonderful for meeting up with new friends or just enjoying a quiet drink. The bar offers lovely views of the colourful Tiffany glass that crowns the atrium.

The Lord's Tavern

Pop into The Lord's Tavern for a perfectly pulled pint or two, and you may well find yourself going to bat at the regular pub quizzes and, naturally, aiming to hit it out of the park. If cricket's not your sport, rest assured the plasma screens will keep you up to date on all the matches that matter. The Lord's Tavern ambience is refreshingly contemporary, a brilliant backdrop to time spent enjoying a bit of banter with your mates.

Anderson's

a break from the tables in the Monte Carlo Club. The panelled walls, deep sofas, comfortable club chairs, classical paintings and traditional rugs create an ambience of a time-honoured London Club. It's perfect for a pre-dinner drink or warming nightcap.

The Crow's Nest

This classy cocktail bar offers Oriana's most spectacular panoramic views. During the day you can enjoy shimmering sea vistas in this comfortable and relaxing atmosphere, with seating on two levels. But it's in the evening, as the lights go down, that The Crow's Nest is at its best; with some mood-setting piano music in the background, you can't find a better place from which to watch a breathtaking sunset at sea.

Lord's Tavern

Welcome to your local at sea. It's all to enjoy with a relaxed ambience, tempting pub snacks, live music, sports and entertainment. As well as serving a wonderful selection of British ciders, a breathtaking variety of traditional and craft beers, light to rich stout artisan ales, your favourite spirits and world wines by the glass (and bottle of course!).

Grab-and-go

Take your pick of self-service snacks such as satisfying sandwiches, fresh salads, and light yogurt and fruit pots. Ideal for when you're looking for a relaxed grab-and-go option; giving you more time to make a splash in the pool and soak up the never-ending sea vistas from deck.

Anderson's bar

What could be better after a hard day's relaxing than enjoying a quintessentially British G&T?

It's time to make an occasion of enjoying your favourite tipple at Anderson's, hosting our speciality gin menu, with unique gin flights and exceptional perfect serves. Plus, we've yet more desirable drinks to tantalise - so if you're in the mood for something fizzy, fruity or more refined - you're sure to find a drink that hits the spot.

Tiffany's

Nothing beats a lazy morning or idle afternoon, coffee and magazine in hand. Tiffany's is just the place with ever-popular Costa Coffee for purchase and comfy seating.

Oasis Spa

Think luxurious spaces to relax in, salon treatments and the aroma of scented oils. You can enjoy a warming and cleansing visit to the sauna and steam rooms. Or opt for the very latest in facials, manicures, pedicures, aromatherapy or massages, in one of the luxurious treatment rooms.

Theatre Royal

The 650-seat Theatre Royal is located in the forward part of the ship on the Promenade Deck. A traditional theatre colour scheme of rich red, blue, gold and maroon, combined with a Shakespearean Tudor rose motif and heraldic design, was employed to give the feel of a West End theatre. The Theatre Royal also has all the very latest technical advantages, with its high-tech audio, video and lighting equipment and its revolving stage. And with a different musical spectacular every night, this is one room that you will visit over and over again.

Pacific Lounge

The Pacific Lounge, at the stern of the ship on the Promenade Deck, is Oriana's entertainment centre. Soft comfortable furnishings and contemporary colours create a friendly and inviting feel in the Pacific Lounge, and a tiered floor offers excellent viewing from anywhere in the room. During the day you can attend craft classes and enjoy leisure pursuits here, and at night you can take in a hilarious comedy or a sophisticated cabaret. There's a full-service bar for liquid refreshment and a large wooden dance floor that comes alive at night.

Chaplin's Cinema

This outstanding cinema offers excellent viewing from any of its 200 comfortable seats, and an exceptional sound system. Chaplin's Cinema is located towards the aft (back) of the ship on D Deck. So sit back and enjoy the latest blockbusters or your favourite old classics, which are shown throughout the day and evening. Chaplin's is also used for lectures, port enhancement talks, and much more.

Harlequins

Midships on Promenade Deck lies Harlequins - Oriana's largest nightspot. A pair of Harlequin figurines welcome you to this very glitzy and very modern dance venue. One of Oriana's most popular spots, Harlequins has an in-laid, wooden sprung floor, which offers a large open space that's great for ballroom dancing during the day. In the evenings, the floor area is reduced to a small intimate space for fantastic late night disco dancing action. The latest in lighting, coupled with superb high-tech sound equipment and the latest tunes, is a recipe for a fantastic evening experience!

Monte Carlo Casino

The Monte Carlo Club is the perfect place for roulette, blackjack and poker. Just forward of midships on the starboard side of Promenade Deck, is the Monte Carlo Club Casino, Oriana's very own slice of cosmopolitan allure from the Riviera. Stop by and try your luck!

Relax and unwind in the on-board spa, let us pamper you in the salon and rejuvenate yourself with our on-board gym and fitness classes.

On board you will find luxurious spa facilities including saunas, steam rooms and even hair and beauty salons. There's everything you need to be truly pampered.

Oasis Spa

The Oasis Spa is all about relaxation, refreshment and rejuvenation.

The Oasis Health and Beauty Spa is situated just forward of the Riviera Pool on Lido Deck. Indulge in a hedonistic aromatherapy or massage treatment, or select from our full range of facials, manicures and pedicures. Enjoy a warming and cleansing visit to the sauna, steam rooms and whirlpool. Each of our private, luxurious treatment rooms also comes with a spectacular ocean view.

Oasis Salon

The Oasis Salon is all about spoiling yourself.

The Oasis Health and Beauty Spa is situated just forward of the Riviera Pool on Lido Deck. Visit our full-service hair salon, where experienced stylists can assist with a quick touch up or create a whole new you.

Gym and Fitness

At the forward end of Lido Deck, on the starboard side of the Oasis Spa, is Oriana's gym.

The floor-to-ceiling windows offer amazing views while you exercise on the large range of the cardiovascular and resistance equipment. You'll also find free weights and an exercise studio, where you can participate in aerobics, circuit training, yoga and more. Experienced personal trainers and nutritional experts are there to assist you with your fitness programme and will check that you are exercising safely and effectively. And when your workout is finished, it is only a few steps to a relaxing massage or soothing sauna in the Oasis Spa.

Sports

Play casually on your own or join one of the many organised tournaments.

Midships on Sun Deck, between the viewing decks for the Crystal and Riviera Pools and adjacent to the golf nets, is the Sports Court. Covered with netting, you can enjoy a game of short tennis, football, cricket or basketball, to name just a few of the options available on Oriana's Sports Court.

Aft of the Sports Court, to the stern of the ship, you can also enjoy a friendly game of Deck Quoits or Shuffleboard, on both the port and starboard sides.

Peninsular Restaurant

Freedom Dining at the Peninsular restaurant.

Like to escape the usual routine on holiday? Then you'll love the flexibility of Freedom Dining. Opt for an early dinner one night and a late supper the next; you can shape each day as you please.

With Freedom Dining you'll still enjoy the special ambience and sociable atmosphere of a main dining room, with a five-course menu (six-course on Gala Nights). The difference from Club Dining is that this option allows you the flexibility to turn up at selected restaurants anytime you choose between 6pm and 9.30pm, with whom you like, and every effort will be made to accommodate you. Freedom Dining is included in your fare when you book a Select Price. Just opt for it when making your Select Price booking.

Oriental

Club Dining at the Oriental Restaurant...

Choose a particular Club Dining seating and you'll dine at the same time and table each night and enjoy the same company. It's the way many a friendship has been made on board.

With Club Dining you'll enjoy the special ambience and sociable atmosphere of the main dining room, and a five-course menu (six-course on Gala Nights). This style of dining is a wonderful way to share your holiday experiences and meet new friends.

By choosing Club Dining you're opting for the cruising tradition of set sitting times. The same table will be reserved for you and your table companions every night for first or second sitting, at 6.30pm or 8.30pm. You can request your preferred sitting when you book a Select Price and we'll inform you of your table number and sitting with a card in your cabin when we welcome you on board.

Afternoon Tea

Classic English Afternoon tea served on board daily.

Treat yourself to a classic English afternoon tea, served daily in the main restaurants. You can enjoy a selection of finger sandwiches, delicious cakes and of course the all important scone topped with clotted cream and jam, all served alongside a pot of tea or coffee.

Drinks Packages

A range of drinks packages can be purchased on board including wine, soft drinks and coffee packages.

The Conservatory

At P&O Cruises, we believe great holidays should be all about choice and freedom.

No matter what time of day it is, if you fancy a good meal you'll always get one on board Oriana. Our main self-service restaurant offers high quality dining throughout the day in a relaxed, informal environment. So if you've just returned to the ship after a shore excursion and have worked up a late afternoon appetite you can still enjoy a great meal.

Dine around the clock - Late night snacks are available from The Conservatory between 10pm and 6am. The menu for these late night buffet options changes each day however, examples may include: self-service sandwich bar, ready-made paninis, homemade cakes, biscuits and pastries.

Al Fresco

Open daily for breakfast and lunch, this intimate, Italian-themed venue is a self-service buffet offering healthier and lighter options.

With seating inside and out, Al Fresco's close proximity to the swimming pools make this an ideal option for a light bite on a sea day.

Room service

Enjoy room service in your comfy cabin. You can order breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner straight to your cabin.

Visit Sindhu and you'll be treated to authentic Indian cuisine with a British twist.

Showcasing a menu which is a triumph of perfectly balanced spices, delicate flavours and wonderful aromas, this restaurant has become a firm favourite with many. So why not take a seat amidst its sumptuous fabrics and opulent decor to experience a treat for your senses?

The Beach House

With seating inside and outside The Beach House is Oriana's informal Select Dining venue offering laid back dining with a coastal feel and international flavours.

The Beach House is situated within The Conservatory, extending onto the terrace, on Lido Deck, by the Terrace Bar. At night this area is transformed into The Beach House providing a menu of tempting and tasty culinary delights including steaks and seafood.
